What is 3D HIFU?
HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound.
3D HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy beneath the surface of the skin at precise depths of 1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm. This allows us to target different layers of tissue, including the deeper structural layer known as the SMAS the same supportive layer addressed during surgical facelift procedures.
The controlled ultrasound energy creates precise points of heat within the targeted tissue while leaving the surface of the skin unaffected.
This triggers the body’s natural healing response, stimulating new collagen production and tissue remodelling. Over the weeks and months following treatment, the skin gradually becomes firmer, tighter and more defined.

Rather than attending the clinic for a lengthy course of treatments, your 3D HIFU session initiates a gradual collagen remodelling process that continues for months afterwards.

*For most people one treatment will deliver desired results, however, some may benefit from more than one treatment depending on their skin laxity and the body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen rebuilding process.
You may notice an initial feeling of firmness or tightening following treatment, but HIFU isn’t designed to produce its final result overnight.
The real transformation happens gradually.
As new collagen is produced and the treated tissue remodels, the face can become progressively firmer and more defined. Results typically continue to develop over approximately 2-3 months, with further collagen remodelling continuing beyond this point.
This gradual process is one of the reasons HIFU results can look so natural, you still look like you, simply firmer, fresher and more defined.

The surface of the skin remains intact during treatment, so most clients can return to their usual daily activities afterwards.
Temporary redness, tenderness, tingling or sensitivity can occur following treatment and will be discussed fully during your consultation.
